PEI Literacy Alliance Adult Learner Awards Program offers bursaries

Applications are now open for bursaries through our Adult Learner Awards Program! In January 2025, we will award eight or more $750 bursaries to adults working toward a Grade 12 certificate or its equivalent (GED or CAEC). These bursaries help reduce financial barriers for adults who have returned to school.

To qualify for a bursary, you must be an adult who: 

• Has not completed grade 12 or GED or CAEC
• Has been out of the public school system for at least 2 years
• Has not received a bursary from us within the past 3 years
• Has been or will be enrolled to work toward your GED or CAEC through a college, technical or trade school, or private training between January 1 – December 31, 2024
