Program Details
Learning English can be challenging—especially in large classes where students may not receive the individual attention they need. Many ESL programs also come with high costs or residency requirements that can also create additional barriers.
Through a partnership with Immigrant and Refugee Services Association (IRSA), LDAPEI is offering small-group ESL classes designed to better support learners who need a more personalized approach. Some students face additional challenges such as trauma, diagnosed or undiagnosed learning disabilities, or other learning differences, which can make language learning even more difficult in traditional classroom settings.
Our classes use a 1:5 ratio (1 teacher, five students) to create a supportive and focused learning environment. Together, we work on building reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills while creating a welcoming space where students can grow in confidence.
Let’s break through barriers together and build strong language skills.
